The position will identify and resolve care management issues for client hospitals and health care organizations. Accretive Health’s Physician Advisors perform chart reviews and real-time telephone consultations to provide appropriate level of care classifications as well as continued stay reviews for patients, in compliance with Medicare regulations.

Requirements:

Active Medical Licensure,Strong Clinical Background with at least 3 years experience,  Initiative and Willingness to assume responsibility,Proficiency in Computer Skills, Excellent Communication and Problem  Solving Skills, Team Player, Organized with strong attention to detail.

with the advent of EMR's, i bet case-reviewing jobs will be much more fun to do! no more trying to interpret chicken-scratch physician handwriting !
